Formula At The Enduro World Championships

The first Enduro World Championships in Italy was as exciting as we hoped it would be, and more dramatic than we could imagine.

Val di Fassa in the Dolomites provided the setting for a race that truly challenged riders. With tough stages, made even harder by wintery conditions, the winner of this race was a true champion.

For Formula, this race was especially important. As an Italian company, we were proud to have our parts fitted to Ancilloti’s Italian made frames and ridden by two Italian riders, Naddi Ellecosta and Tommaso Francardo.

After five hard stages of racing Nadine finished in P9 overall with Tommaso in P36.

Tommaso Francardo
It was wonderful to be part of the first enduro world championship in history, in a spectacular location with breathtaking views like Canazei. It was a challenging race, where the extreme conditions of the tracks and the cold temperatures after the snowfalls of the days before the tests and race, made the race day very demanding. Unfortunately due to some mechanical problems and some falls I was not able to express myself to the fullest, but it was still one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

Nadine Ellecosta
It was an unforgettable event and I am very happy to have been able to be part of this first enduro world championship in Canazei wearing the blue jersey. The race was tough with demanding special tests and the weather and low temperatures made it even harder. I am very happy with my performance and to have finished in 9th position. A compliment to all the organization staff who did a great job and who managed to create this unique experience in the world of enduro.
